These are handy administrator commands for F.E.A.R. Combat that you may use on our servers.

The area we use to change game settings is called the SCMD. Bring up the global chat window (T by default) and then log in as an admin by typing the following:

SCMD login password (replace password with the server password you were given)

you should get a message: SCMD Login Successful.

All commands must have SCMD before them (in caps)
Example: SCMD help

Commands: -

HELP - Displays list of commands
LOGIN [Password] - Identifies you as a server administrator
LOGOUT - Removes administrative rights from your connection
LISTCLIENTS - Displays names and respective IP addresses
BOOTNAME [Name] - Kicks a player using their player name.
BOOTID [User ID] - Kicks a player based on their user ID.
BANUSER [User ID] - Ban a user based on their user ID
UNBANUSER [BANID] - Unban a user based on their ban ID
LISTUSERBANS - Show a List of Banned Players
LISTGAMEOPTIONS - List All Game Options

To remove an unwanted player

Example: You are logged into SCMD and one of the players becomes abusive. With SCMD, you can boot the player like this: -

Type SCMD listclients This will display text similar to the following:

Client List format: clientid) [name][ping][ip]
0) [GoodPlayer][40][172.246.689.012]
1) [Cheater][80][123.456.789.012]
2) [Player0][120][321.654.987.210]
3) [Joueur][30][321.654.987.210]

This displays the user number, user name, ping and I.P.

From here, you can type SCMD BOOTID 1

(Please note that the first player is 0 the second 1 the third 2 etc)

You should get a message: Command Successful and the player will have left the server. When you boot a player there is nothing to prevent that player from rejoining and this command should be used more as a warning. To prevent him rejoining you should use the command BANUSER, type: -

SCMD BANUSER 1

And the player will have been kicked from the server. In the case of hacks being used always BAN the user not BOOT.

This is not a complete list of all SCMD commands; just a quick guide, which we hope helps new admins.
