How to handle cheaters and abusive people.
Do Not:
- Asume the person is using a hack just because they are very good and owning you. There are some very good players out there on FEAR who would never hack.
- Call the person a name or abuse them; this tends to only encourage them further, I have never seen a hacker leave on that account YET!
- Threaten the user with a kick or ban, that's is the duty of Admin.
- Result to hacking yourself.
- Download a hack/cheating tool then using it to get back at the hacker. That makes you no better then them.
- Attempt to hack the actual hacker by other methods such as trojans and backdoors.
Do:
- Calmly Report any hackers to the server administrator if they are on.
- If none are on then use the Talk All key "T"by default and state the name of the hacker and the type of hack being used. This will allow admins to check the server logs and investigate.
- Provide any screenshot and evidence that may be needed to incriminate said hacker.
- Try to avoid instigating the hacker, that may make you a future target.
- Exit the server - IF you feel that your internet security is at risk.
- Feel free to pray to your God that the hacker's graphics card overheats thus setting fire to his motherboard, melting his computer and destroying all his porn in the process...
If you wish to report an incident of abuse then e-mail abuse@raw-recruits.com. Stating the time it took place, the name of the offender and the type of offence and attach to the e-mail any evidence you may have gained.
