So, who are RAW recruits? Well, we are all big fans of F.E.A.R. Combat, which is the game that brought most of us together originally. We started out in January 2008, with just two people, armed only with an idea and a lowly 10 slot UK FEAR Combat TDM server (you can read more on the About Us page), we entered our server and we waited…

What were we waiting for? We were waiting to get to the stage we are today of course. Having had over 20,000 unique visitors on our main server in the first year alone. Today we manage a dedicated hosting, housed in London’s Data Centre Blue Square, which offers the best Unlimited Bandwidth the Country can provide. As well as F.E.A.R. we have now also introduced Unreal Tournament III & Call of Duty 4 too, each of these have their own website and forum. Aliens Vs Predator coming soon.

we are presently running seven F.E.A.R. Servers, comprising two 16-slot TDM, a 16-slot Custom Maps with new Custom Sounds, a 12-slot Bastard Mod, a 12-slot Co-operative (Coop Warfare), a 16-slot USA TDM and a 18-slot Private Server for our own use. an 18-slot UT3 server, a 26-slot HardCore COD4 & a 40=slot Frontlines server. In addition we have this, our own Domain Server, which boasts a huge monthly Bandwidth of 15,000 GB and an impressive 1,500 GB of storage on the website. That’s more then enough to store all of the very best FEAR Patches, Custom Maps & Mods that you will find available to download here for free. Plus a host of utilities, tips and guides to help you. These range from our unique MPCustomizations.txt file utility to our extensive F.E.A.R. Tuning Guide to tweak your Graphics and get you a bit more out of that older card maybe.

We have recently set up our own 100-slot Murmur server which runs the Mumble client, this Low-latency, High-quality server even offers 3D in-game positional sound and replaces our TeamSpeak. In addition to the above we have now started a new offshoot RawR.Design, which specialises in supplying Gaming Clans with a ready-made complete website solution, you can find out more on this by visiting our resource section.

We are much more then just a Clan. With nearly 50 members from over 21 different countries, we are truly an international close-knit community dedicated to helping one another out. Our rules and ethics can be found in other parts of this site. We also have a lively main forum that includes a Technical Support section where many of our more technically minded guys are on hand to offer advice and solutions on a wide range of computer related problems.

The one game we don't play is F.E.A.R. 2, as Monolith really let us down with absolutely no multi-player support in this game, no anti-cheat, no dedicated server files and no consideration for the PC user at all, we have seen the same thing happen in COD4 MW2 too. However, you will find our members playing many other games such as Cool Pool and Flatout2, plus the occasional Poker night, which you will be able to join in on.
